The Hook: The Asthma Society is launching its campaign to clean up our air in cities, towns and rural areas tonight at University College Cork. The central focus will be to press the government to replace Ireland’s outdated Air Pollution Act with a new Clean Air Act. Story Idea: Modular Housing is welcome but solutions are permanent housing with support

The Hook: The Simon Communities cautiously welcomed the recent proposal for the introduction of modular housing units to help address the growing homeless crisis. However, they stressed that this is still a temporary solution where families experiencing homeless will live for up to six months and there remains much detail to be worked out. Simon knows that the solution to homelessness is permanent housing with support and it is essential that we do not lose sight of this vision.
