 With Schools returning children are more likely to be susceptible to the common flu and tummy bug; the typical child expecting to get 3 to 8 common colds a year and 2 to 3 bouts of viral gastroenteritis (stomach flu) a year. It is a sure thing that parents will be treating their children for minor ailments during the course of the school year. That’s why Pharmacists have issued some practical tips for parents for this school year. President of the Irish Pharmacy Union, Kathy Maher, is available for comment on tips for kids well-being.
