Expert: Ciairin de Buis
(Expert in Childcare and Family Supports) Director, Start Strong.
The Hook: After years of cutbacks, it’s time to provide long term solutions to the crises in our early childhood care and education system – that of quality, affordability, and investment. By avoiding quick fixes like tax credits and planning for the future through a programme of structured investment that links public funding of childcare services to quality standards, we can finally offer our young children the best possible start.
